Wobsty wobster was my little son's unseen friend.
He was quite naaughty.
When we asked who had done some naughty thing
My son would invariably say
Wobsty had done it,
Although he was a pretend friend.
How convenient!
We could all do with a Wobsty
To bail us out.
And yet one who is not pretend,
Although some think he is
Did just that,
Jesus bailed us out.
When things looked bad between us and God.
Have you said thank you?
